Horror 365 Movie (well, TV) 271: Thrift Store Thursday VI

This was quite the find. Pretty much everyone knows what The Twilight Zone is. A good many folks are also familiar with Alfred Hitchcock Presents. But from 1960-1962, right in the thick of it with those two greats, there was another show along the same lines that was every bit as good. That show was Thriller hosted by Boris Karloff.

It didn’t last long despite boasting some of the same folks who wrote for Hitchcock and Serling, including Charles Beaumont and Robert Bloch as well as directors like Ted Post and Ida Lupino. So when I found The Complete Series at the CHKD Thrift Store, I didn’t have to be convinced to shell out the whoppin’ $6 asking price.
