This is a short post today gang. See, as announced not long ago, today is the big bad combination book release and costume/Halloween party for Candy & Rigor Mortis Vol. 2: Post Mortem, so we here at Castle Blogferatu are doing our utmost to prepare for this evening’s festivities. That includes catching the 3pm show of Psycho at the Naro (who can pass up a chance to see a Hitchcock movie on a big screen?) as well as most likely a nice sized nap.
One side effect of this is that I get just a little apprehensive, jittery, and unable to focus, hence the brevity of today’s post. Anyway, as I’ve mentioned previoussly, the book is the second collection from my buddy Jorge Mendez and me. All of the stuff in it is horror related (which includes horror movies), and we’re already at work on our yet to be named 3rd Volume. We’ve already got an idea for it, but I don’t wanna let the black cat outta the bag just yet.
Other than that, I have my costume ready to go. It’s movie-themed but, ironically, not horror. If the stars are aligned just right (or just wrong), there might be pictures tomorrow.

Sounds like you’re having a really awesome event. If I were in the area I’d try checking it out. I’m trying to debut a collection of stories myself, but at the rate I’m going I don’t know when that will be. I work a day job so that kind of slows me down. I’m working on it though. Good luck with your guys’ book! The cover looks pretty neat!

Well. I would say it’s a hmmm – circular look at lives in a few small towns over a few decades that ends – or maybe – “culminates” in what I would call a horror situation. That might be a way to put it!
