It’s one of the coolest video rental places around.
Arguably the coolest.
Naro Expanded Video has been in business since, technically, the 80s, but was bought in 1996 by the current owners, Tim Cooper and Linda McGreevy. Legend has it they restocked the place from scratch starting with stuff out of their own collection.
There was a time when you could become a member of The Naro and give them your Blockbuster membership card. They would cut your card up, often into some whimsical shape, and hang it up behind the counter. I think you got a free rental or a membership discount in the process.
The number of cut up cards was impressive, and they’re still there.
